Better Podcasting – Episode 002 - The Recording Process
Welcome to Better Podcasting! We talk about podcast tips, tools and best practices to help you succeed with your podcast! Just like you we podcast purely out of the love and the fun of it. Podcasting is our hobby and we love that it is yours too! We always encourage your questions and feedback and you can find all of our contact information at betterpodcasting.com.
In our second show we discuss the recording process including some of the gear and software you may need to get started. You'll want to consider your budget for a microphone (our top recommendations are the Audio-Technica AT2005-USB and Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB), podcast delivery method (audio vs video), and method of communicating with your hosts (Skype, Hangouts, etc). We'll also give some tips on Microphone position and suggestions on how to record your show too!
We also debut our recurring segment - the Better Podcasting
Download. This week's topic is Google's announcement that Google
Play will soon include podcasts!
